This quiet, family house, located in the heart of the village, is just a 15-20 min. walk to the tourney. It has off street parking for two cars behind solid and high electronic gates on Sunnyside. Once inside the parking bay you are in a very pretty walled garden which provides excellent security. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and traditionally furnished with a good homey feel. Each of the 5 double bedrooms has its own basin: perfect for those sharing the accommodation. Wifi is present throughout the house.

The main front door is on Ridgway which opens onto the raised ground floor. To the right is a spacious double drawing room which I feel would be a good place to put a massage table, the main living area being downstairs. Off the drawing room’s study area is a glass door leading out onto a sunny terrace where there is a table, chairs and a spiral staircase down into the garden. Downstairs is the main living quarters, accessed best from the garden and parking. The big family room is divided into three distinct spaces. A TV lounging area with comfy sofas and and chairs sit in front of a 54” Tv screen with Sky, Netflix, Amazon etc. The kitchen space is fully equipped and in addition to the Aga cooker is an electric hob, double oven and microwave as well as a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. the breakfast table seats 8. Big double doors can shield off the formal dining room where the table will morph into a full size table tennis table. (if you need to use the antique dining table as such, special precautions will need to be made to protect it, so best not to use it – let’s discuss). The separate utility room has a washing machine and lots racks for drying including a lazy shelia up on the ceiling. The French doors lead from the TV lounging space out onto the lovely mature garden where there is garden furniture, a BBQ and Firepit. The guest cloakroom has a basin and loo.
Up on the first floor is the master bedroom with its queen size double bed 5ft wide, in an antique wooden bedstead. The big ensuite bathroom has a power shower cubicle, bath, basin and loo. The other double bedroom on this floor has a queen size, 5ft wide double bed with a wardrobe and basin. Up on the 2nd floor are 2 double bedrooms, each with a basin: one has a standard 4’6″ wide double bed and the other is 4ft wide. There are two bathrooms side by side; one has a power shower cubicle, basin and loo and the other has a shower over the bath with a basin and loo. The TV snug has a 48” TV and a comfy L shaped sofa. Up in the attic is another double bedroom with a standard 4’6” wide bed, a basin and a sitting area with a small sofa and a large TV.
n.b. the Aga will be switched off as it exudes quite a lot of heat, and as it will be Summertime, you probably wont want this on!
